Sound familiar?

Why stores stay stuck

  1. The import app moved the products in an afternoon. Nobody mentioned that every old product URL would start returning “page not found”.

  2. Your WooCommerce export has one row per variant, a column called attribute_pa_size, and nothing that looks like Shopify's template.

  3. A migration quote says “SEO included” and does not say what that means, so you do not know what you would be paying for.

What you get

Inside The Shopify Migration Kit

  • Plan and freeze: an inventory of what exists, what Shopify can and cannot import, and a timeline
  • Export guides for WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and BigCommerce — what comes out and the gotchas
  • Column-by-column mapping to Shopify's product CSV, with a worked template (variants and extra images)
  • The redirect map: collect every old URL, rank by traffic, map old to new, import, test — with two templates
  • SEO carryover: titles, descriptions, alt text, canonicals, the sitemap and Search Console after launch
  • Launch day in order, and the first 30 days of checks — plus a 134-check list covering all of it
A look inside

The redirect map, as you receive it

The first rows of the working template — a fictional store, filled in the way the guide teaches.

/product/linen-shirt-2023/Product (discontinued)/products/linen-shirtTested on myshopify

Rule one of the chapter: one hop, old URL straight to the final one. A discontinued product goes to its direct replacement, not to the home page. The same rows come ready in Shopify's two-column import format.

Is this for you?

Buy it if — and don’t if

This is for you if

  • You are moving from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce and your old store gets search traffic.
  • You are comfortable in a spreadsheet and would rather spend your own hours than pay for the whole job.

It is not for you if

  • You have thousands of SKUs, custom checkout logic, several languages or active subscriptions — have it done: our migration is quoted from $1,199.
  • You have not decided on Shopify yet; the kit assumes the decision is made.

How it works

Three steps, no rabbit holes

  1. 01

    Plan and export

Count what you have, set the freeze date, take full exports from the old platform.

  2. 02

    Map and rehearse

Convert the products, build the redirect map, test-import on Shopify before launch.

  3. 03

    Launch and watch

Launch in order, import the redirects, then run the 30-day 404 loop.

Fair questions

What people ask before they buy

“Can't the import app do all of this?”

Import tools move products well. None of them build the redirect map, and that is where a migration loses its rankings — so the kit gives it a chapter, two templates and a test plan.

“How long will it take me?”

It depends on your products and old URLs. The kit plans 15 to 25 hours over two to three weeks for a store of about 100 products — a planning figure, not a promise.

“What if the migration goes wrong?”

The kit is a download, and it cannot promise how your migration goes. If a file is missing, corrupted or does not match this page, contact us and we will help resolve it or send a corrected replacement. Email support covers the kit's steps for 30 days.

Questions

Answered before you ask

Which platforms does it cover?

WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and BigCommerce. The method applies to others, but the export guides and URL patterns are written for those four.

Does it move my orders and customers too?

It explains what Shopify can import natively and what needs an app or the API — customer passwords never move, so accounts are re-invited — and how to decide how much order history to bring.

Is support included?

Email support for 30 days after purchase on the kit's steps, and free updates when platforms change their menus or export formats. It does not include us doing the migration.

When should I not do this myself?

Thousands of SKUs, custom checkout logic, several languages, active subscriptions or heavy custom fields. The kit says so plainly, and our done-for-you migration is quoted from $1,199.

Rather have it done, rehearsed and tested for you?

Shopify Migration by Shopision is this method done by us: a free scoping read, a fixed quote with a date, a test migration you click through, and a 301 for every old URL, crawled and tested. Quoted from $1,199.

Two ways this goes

Leave it as it is

The move stays on the list, and the redirect map stays the part nobody plans.

Or start today

Move your store to Shopify with every old URL mapped. The redirect map is the part import apps skip.
