Not if we know about it. We only touch the web records (A and CNAME), and we read the whole zone before changing anything. Mail records stay exactly as they are.
“Last time I changed DNS, the site went down for a day.”
We read your whole zone before changing anything, send the exact A and CNAME records for your registrar, and write down every change we made. SSL is checked at the end and unstuck if it is stuck.
“Why does my old icon still show after you change it?”
Browsers and search results cache favicons, sometimes for a while after the change. We explain that before we start, so an old icon in your own tab is not mistaken for a failed job.
