- EUR. Your store can sell in it; our prices and invoices are in US dollars.
- Shopify Payments
- Not on Shopify's list of supported countries (read 28 September 2026), so a store based in Slovakia takes payment through a third-party provider. Choosing and connecting one is part of Store Setup & Design.
- Time zone
- UTC+1, standard time. We answer a brief within one business day, Monday to Friday; we do not promise working hours in your time zone.
- Language
- Slovak. Briefs, reviews and change logs are in English. A storefront in Slovak runs on Shopify's Translate & Adapt app or a translation app such as Weglot — an Install One App job at $129. We set the app up; we do not write or proofread the translated copy.
- Data protection
- The GDPR applies to your store's visitors (EU/EEA). Consent, the cookie banner and your privacy page are part of store setup, not an afterthought.

Before you ask
Straight answers
Can you work on a store in Slovakia?
Yes. The work is remote wherever the store is: it happens on a duplicate of your theme, you get a preview link, and nothing touches the live store until you approve it. Being in Slovakia changes the currency, the clock and the language — not the job.
Do you have a team or an office there?
No. Shopision is a remote team and we do not claim a local presence anywhere. What you get is the same scope, price and review wherever you are.
What access do you need?
A Shopify collaborator account with only the permissions the job needs — never your password. Revoke it the moment the work is delivered.
How is it billed?
In US dollars, whatever your store sells in. Studio is monthly and cancels anytime; a fixed-price job is paid once.
Can you write the store's copy in Slovak?
No — our briefs, copy and reviews are in English. We can set up the translation app and the language switcher; the translated words should come from you or a translator you trust.
What if the first delivery misses?
Tell us what to change. We keep refining the agreed work until you are satisfied; revisions to that work are included, and on Studio they stay in the same active slot.
